Pendulum Exercises - A Shoulder Activity

Pendulum exercises describe an exercise technique used to increase movement in a painful shoulder after injury or surgery. Although especially easy, pendulum exercises are an excellent way to regain motion in the shoulder. To perform, one leans over hanging the arm like and elephant trunk. Gentle swaying of the body results in the arm swinging back and forth as well as side to side like a pendulum. This activity prevents frozen shoulder from developing.
