Shoulder pain can be due a variety of disorders including:
acromioclavicular joint arthritis
shoulder joint separation
Both these disorders affect the acromioclavicular joint. While shoulder separation is often the result of direct trauma, acromioclavicular joint arthritis often results over time and is often experienced by weight lifters.
