The American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is launching its Fit After 50 campaign today to help kick off National Physical Therapy Month. From October 1st through November 19th, the APTA will use the social media site Twitter to post a daily tweet with tips on how to stay fit and active after age 50.
You may know that physical therapists treat people who have suffered movement loss or dysfunction after illness or injury. But did you know that your physical therapist is also trained to help you prevent injury. He or she can also help you get fit and stay fit.
