Recently in my clinic, the song "Scar Tissue" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers came on the radio while I was working. I had a patient who had a recent knee surgery and was dealing with some scar tissue as a result of the surgical incision. He was learning self scar mobilization techniques when the song came on.
Occasionally, songs come on the radio in the clinic that make patients and therapists chuckle a bit. Songs about pain or motivational songs sometimes play and get people laughing about their current situation in physical therapy.
