Responsibilities


Physical therapy assistants are educated in the administration of therapeutic exercise, massage, stretching, as well as balance and gait training in the rehabilitation setting. PTAs job duties also include the evaluation and documentation of patient progression or regression. Physical therapy assistants can also perform assistive device training with crutches, canes, and walkers.
