Overview

Kegel's are a specific type of exercise that target the muscles of the pelvic floor. These muscles support the rectum, vagina, and the urethra in the pelvis. Strengthening these muscles can help prevent incontinence after vaginal delivery, decrease the incidence of rectal and uretheral prolapse that occur with aging, and can even make vaginal childbirth easier. Look below to learn how to exercise these important muscles.
